New Weight Loss Discovery

There are many different strategies out there today for losing weight - it can be so confusing for people who struggle with their weight.

Low carb or low fat?

Some plans say to cut a meal or two out, but others say eat more meals daily.

Take supplements, or do it with just diet and exercise?

Even the type of exercise people suggest varies.

Some of the latest research is showing that there may be other factors at play, besides just the above areas of which foods to eat, how to exercise, and good supplements to take.

We now know that some of the foods we eat are resulting in digestive problems that make Weight Loss a bigger problem than simply changing our diet a bit, or exercising more. Research released recently by Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst supports this.

Plaque and parasites in the stomach and colon are known to make Weight Loss a much bigger issue for some people, even if they are exercising more and eating less.

These digestive issues can be addressed, making diet and exercise changes much more effective for some people.

I know everyone is looking for the magic pill, but if it existed we’d all be using it!

Food choices are of course still important, such as keeping the amount of certain carbohydrates in our diet to a reasonable level.

I think everyone agrees that exercise is still important, too.

These exercise and food choices won’t be effective, however, till we deal with any digestive issues as discussed above.

How to Get Rid of Cellulite - You’ve Been Lied To

Everyone likes to see a cute, dimpled smile. What nobody wants to see or have is a dimpled BUTT. Cellulite is infamous for giving us dimples on our thighs, butts, and hips. Yeah, blech.

Well, there are ways to learn how to get rid of cellulite, but what I want to focus on is what doesn’t work. All too often we see products advertised that promise to rid us of our cellulite and make us look like the latest Hollywood star! Most of the time, they are fake! Here are some of those things that do not work.

Creams and Lotions - Yes, they tell us that we can learn how to get rid of cellulite by simply rubbing on their products. Not going to happen! What they may do is give us a temporary shrinkage of the fat cells, but they will return, like a bad ex-boyfriend.

Body Wraps - These could give you a temporary fix, but again, it’s temporary. Very temporary. In fact, body wraps may not even be good for your health. If you ever see an advertisement for a body wrap, do yourself a favor and turn off the TV.

Electric Muscle Stimulation - A dream come true, yes? Well, dream on. You just strap on this device, turn it on, and flop back down to watch more TV. And like magic, your cellulite goes away. Sorry, it only removes the lumps in your wallet.

If you truly want to learn how to get rid of cellulite, you have to learn what to eat, what to avoid, and what exercises will help shrink those fat cells. This is the only effective way to reduce cellulite and make our skin look smoother and slimmer.

It’s a raw deal, I know. But if we’re determined, committed, and are driven to succeed, we’ll have what it takes to get rid of those pesky dimples!

Walking On Treadmills For Weight Loss

Walking on a treadmill is by far one of the easiest ways to get in shape. Treadmills are the choice of many beginning exercisers because the machines are so accommodating. The same machine that you use in the beginning when you are just walking can be the same machine that you are running on months down the road.

One of the main reasons that people opt for walking on a treadmill, instead of going somewhere to walk or walking outside, is having your own treadmill takes away exercise excuses. You can’t blame Mother Nature for not working out, and you can’t say you are too tired to travel to your walking destination, when a treadmill is in your home. Another reason many people purchase their own personal treadmills is they can workout when it’s convenient to them-day or night.

A question that is on the minds of many people who are beginning a walking workout program is how much time they should walk. How long you should walk for will be based on your health and fitness condition and what your goals are. Most health professionals and exercise experts recommend that people try to walk 30 to 60 minutes at a pace that will bring their heart rates up to 50 to 70 percent of their maximum heart rate.

You can estimate your maximum heart rate by applying a simple formula of 220 minus your age. For example, if you are 25 years old you take 220 minus 25 to get a maximum heart rate of 195. Fifty to seventy percent of that would be 98-137. Following the expert recommendations, you should strive to keep your heart rate between 98-137 beats per minute during your entire workout.

If this sounds too difficult for you, don’t panic. Simply cut those minutes into blocks. It may be easier for you to walk on your treadmill three times a day for ten minutes. The most important thing is that you try to walk every day, or as many days as you can out of the week and to keep your heart rate in that 50-70 percent zone during your workouts.

It won’t take long before you will start to see results from walking on a treadmill. Your routine will start to become easier-and when it does it’s time to increase your walking intensity. As your endurance increases, so will your maximum heart rate. To make walking on a treadmill work for you, try to keep your heart rate within 60 to 70 percent of your maximum heart rate. This will ensure that your fitness and cardiovascular system continues to increase, too.

No matter your fitness condition or your age, it’s always a good time to start getting healthy. Walking on a treadmill is a great way to do it, too. They serve as personal trainers as they keep up with your calories, walking distance and speed, heart rate and more. The great news is as your endurance increases, so can your workout on a treadmill.

Clenbuterol - Does It Work?

A very common Weight Loss treatment, Clenbuterol is highly appreciated by both dieters and athletes; however, mention should be made that Clenbuterol Weight Loss pills have severe side effects that specialists warn against, particularly if the treatment is administered without a doctor’s recommendation.

Before you rush off to see your doctor because you know how good it is there are a few things you need to be aware of first. I should first say that this drug has not received FDA approval in the US, though it is largely used all over the world.

It is only in the last few years that Clenbuterol has been used to help people Lose Weight and for athletes to enhance their muscle development; it was first created to help sufferers with respiratory conditions. Far from being a steroid, this Weight Loss treatment is in fact an ephedra-like product.

Excess fat is shed much quicker when using Clenbuterol as it speeds up the metabolism and the circulatory system.

By getting rid of fat especially around certain areas, athletes end up with leaner muscles but to do this it has to interfere with the normal functioning of many of the body’s natural hormones.

Owing to the effects it can have on the system it should be administered under strict medical supervision by gradually increasing the dose. People who use it in Weight Loss pills should expect to have bad headaches, tremors and lose sleep and this is why medical supervision is so important.

The other fact about using Clenbuterol is it is only designed to be used for short periods of three to four weeks then it must be stopped for about four weeks before re-starting the course; the body will only Lose Weight quickly for short periods before the drug produces no effect.

If you are considering using this Weight Loss method then be aware that most experts in this subject consider it a dangerous form of Weight Loss. Anyone thinking of using it to Lose Weight needs to be aware of the dangers before actually taking it so they can learn to counteract any possible problems.

One thing is for sure Clenbuterol Weight Loss treatment is not completely out of the scene yet, particularly since there are countries where it is still used.

If people took their physical well-being more seriously by eating healthily and took regular exercise, there would be no need to use drugs that have serious side-effects.

Yes it works, but consider the long term implications to your health before seeing your doctor about using it.

A better alternative is definitely Hoodia gordonii. Hoodia is different because firstly its not a chemical drug. Secondly, its a much healthier and safer method. and Thirdly, it works differently.

Hoodia works by reducing your appetite drastically, which will help you control your daily calorie intake easily. 1000, or even 500 less calories a day, multiplied by 7 days a week, will make a huge change in your body.

Finding A Cellulite Solution That Works

An effective cellulite solution is something many women are struggling to find. If you are among those with this problem, it’s important to remember there are many others in the same boat, so to speak. Every year when swimsuit season comes around, women everywhere are painfully reminded of their unsightly orange-peel skin once again.

You may think the only way to get rid of cellulite is to have expensive, invasive and often dangerous surgical procedures. Liposuction has become extremely popular in recent years and it doesn’t seem like such a big deal anymore. However, not only is surgery full of risk, you also face the possibility that your cellulite will return. And, that’s assuming the liposuction worked to remove it initially.

So what really works? Let’s take a closer look at some alternative therapies to help get rid of cellulite without the inherent risk associated with surgeryl.

One treatment which many use is mesotherapy. This treatment was invented in the fifties by a French doctor named Dr. Pistor. In Europe it’s a popular choice that involves injections of amino acids, minerals and vitamins into the areas where cellulite exists. Generally the injections are administered each week for several months to achieve good results.

If you choose to try mesotherapy, you should be ready for a lengthy and costly series of treatment sessions. While most people report decent results, qualified physicians can be hard to locate. Because of the expense and the fact that injections are used, other options are often more desirable.

Body wraps are another alternative many women turn to. But, their effectiveness as a remedy for cellulite is still in question. They are based on the premise that toxins in the body play a major role in cellulite formation.

Body wraps, at least in theory, are intended to force these toxins out of the body. The idea is that this will result in a better body shape and reduced water retention. A body wrap is supposed to stimulate the skin for a healthier appearance. While this is not guaranteed to work, it’s certainly worth a try and can be worked into a relaxing day at the spa.

Of course, exercise and diet can go a long way towards reducing cellulite in those who are carrying a few extra pounds or have a lack of muscle tone. Not everybody loves exercise and diet restrictions, but this is an option which works well when practiced regularly. Simple steps like walking and biking can get you started and the change will astound you.

It can be difficult to make changes to your lifestyle, but it will become routine over time. You can do it by taking small steps like drinking water instead of soda, working more healthy veggies into your diet and walking whenever possible. Every little bit helps. You’ll get more energy, feel less stressed and sleep better too - certainly a nice bonus along with reducing cellulite.

Before choosing your own cellulite solution, educate yourself on the options available and consider the various alternative therapies available before taking drastic measures. Many times you’ll find the best remedy is not the one with the higher price tag.

Herbal Fat Loss Made Possible

Generally people confuse Weight Loss with Fat Loss from the body. This is a serious misunderstanding. Well-being of a person depends on a certain amount of fat in the body. Fat is emergency storage of energy in your body. Indiscriminate Fat Loss from the body can be dangerous.

Clinically men are considered obese if their body fat level is over 25% and women are considered obese if their body fat level is over 30%; by this reckoning about 60% of population can be categorized as being obese.

A program for Fat Loss basically has two components; first, cutting down consumption of excess calories which cause a build up of fat in the body and secondly gradually burning off the excess fat the body has acquired in the past. Cutting down on intake of excess calories is a matter of observing healthy diet in a disciplined manner; burning off excess fat from the body is generally done by suitable exercises and it can be supplemented by some dietary practices. Some fat burner preparations are available on the market, but it is advisable to avoid them as far as possible.

Any program for Fat Loss must incorporate appropriate routine of exercises. Exercising you will undertake is not for building a six-pack body but to help burn the stored fat and at the same time maintain your health. Aerobic exercises and jogging are the barest minimum that you must include in your routines. Exercises increase the rate of metabolism which helps burn off the fat; muscles burn more calories than fat.

Healthy dietary practice would require consumption of appropriate amount of “good” proteins, “good” carbohydrates, and “good” fats. I have used the word “good” deliberately, to be able to clear certain notions people have regarding desirability of certain components of diet.

As I mentioned earlier, exercises are essential for general well-being and also for burning calories. Protein is essential in building muscles. Low fat milk products such as skimmed milk, cottage cheese, yogurt as well as fish are rich in proteins but are low on fat. So they are good proteins.

Similarly carbohydrates are essential for the body as source of energy. Beans, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains not only supply carbohydrates to the body but they are natural hunger-suppressants because body can consume them slowly. They are also moderate on calories and fats.

Contrary to popular belief certain fatty foods are very helpful to the body. Fatty acids the body can get from eating fish such as Salmon, Mackerel, Sardines and Herrings help regulate blood pressure, they can lower risk of heart failures, and they prevent blood clotting.

Fiber foods hardly contribute any calories, and they are filling. They are natural hunger suppressants. Moreover they are not digested by the body and while passing through the body undigested they help in carrying away some fats and proteins. Apples, beans, broccoli, brown rice, nuts and bran are good fiber foods. Eat adequate fiber food.

While trying to lose fat from the body, drink plenty of water - especially ice cold water. Water is a natural appetite suppressant and it is essential in the process of burning up the stored fat. It helps natural Weight Loss.

You will see it is possible to achieve Fat Loss if realistic practical steps are taken.

Fast Weight Loss That Matters

Excessive weight in a person could be the result of heredity or genetic disorder (which is beyond the person’s control); it may have resulted from the person’s food habits, life style, the nature of work and activities the person routinely engages in, etc. Except in cases of genetic disorders or heredity, generally you gain weight over a long period of time and with reasonable awareness towards your well-being there is generally no reason for you to look for ways to achieve fast Weight Loss.

Excess weight condition matters; so Weight Loss also matters. Why should fast Weight Loss matter? And for whom does the fast rate matter?

There are two categories of people who look for fast Weight Loss methods - those who are very obese and have recently become conscious of danger to their health and those who are taken in by those very “alluring but misleading” advertisements showing that you could become super models by following the slimming courses for two or three weeks.

Health experts agree that an average person can lose about 1 to 2 pounds of weight per week by correct eating habits and reasonable exercises. This is a safe and healthy amount to lose; you could achieve long lasting results in this way. By adopting additional safe methods such as use of Proactol, a fat binder OTC product, you may be able to lose safely about 2 to 3 pounds per week; that itself would be high Weight Loss rate.

I know many would be keen on losing weight at much higher rate - something like 10 to 15 pounds a week. However take a moment to think. Do you gain weight at anything like 10 to 15 pounds a week steadily? You don’t because your body cannot. And if your body cannot add weight at that rate, it will not be able to lose at that rate either without ill effects.

By going on a starvation diet to Lose Weight at an unrealistic rate, all that you manage to lose is your muscles, body fluids - water - , your sleep and money, of course! Achieving fast Weight Loss is violating the natural rhythm of your body. Quite often it is seen that such drastic results of Weight Loss achieved are equally rapidly negated.

As I said earlier, there are those cases of extreme obesity whose need for faster Weight Loss may be reasonable because of health concerns. Bariatric surgery may be the answer to the prayer of these obese patients. In these Weight Loss surgery techniques, called gastric bypass and laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding (”Lap Band”), the capacity of the stomach is surgically reduced or limited. This limits the quantity of food the patient is able to eat. This automatically restricts the tendency of the body to have a craving for food and also restricts weight gain. Most of the persons are able to return to their normal work after a few weeks.
