Unleash Your Inner Creativity: Tips from Gayle Gregory

“The source of innovation is a place of fearlessness. It’s a place of not worrying and trying to force things to happen,” says Gayle Gregory, leadership coach and co-author of The Grand Experiment: An Expedition of Self-Discovery.

Most people are not aware that they have fears, or if they are, don’t know how to over come them. Take the mystery out of unleashing your inner creativity with Gayle.

Realize your true potential with these strategies:

1. Be open to admitting what your fears are.

Everyone has fears, fears of not having the needed resources, of not being good enough, of not having the power to do what you need to do or not having the right answer. Stop and observe! Be prepared to see which fears are determining your life and preventing you from the source of natural innovation.

2. Engage your fears

After you’ve recognized your fears, bring them out in the open and carefully study them. Sit down with them and really get to know them. They merely require your interest and curiosity. You will find they begin to dissolve when you face them and stop avoiding them. Fear is only powerful when we don’t face it.

3. Tap into your potential.

As fear begins to dissolve, you will be capable of of finding that place of creativity more and more. Fears are keeping you from reaching that place of clarity, the spring of flow and innovation. One who is committed to reaching that place won’t let fear hold them and become a fearless warrior. Inspiration doesn’t have to be rare. It is intended to occur every day.

Putting these techniques into practice will better able you to tap into your source of creativity.
