Thursday, June 28th, 2007
  1. THE COBRA: Do this in easy stages. Lie down, face prone, legs tightly together and stretched back, forehead on the floor. Put your hands, palm down, just under your shoulders. Inhale and raise your head, pressing your neck back, now use your hands to push your trunk up until you are bending in a beautiful arc from your lower spine to the back of your neck. You need go no further than this. However, if you are supple enough, you can now straighten your arms completely, bend the legs at the knees and drop your head back to touch your feet. Even if your head goes nowhere near your feet, drop it back as far as possible and hold the posture with deep breathing. Come out of the posture very slowly, returning to the face prone posture. Relax with your head to one side. Repeat.

Indoor Herb Garden

Friday, June 22nd, 2007

For those of you who are avid cooks, even amateur ones, a well equipped kitchen is undoubtedly a necessity. Speaking of necessities, things like a good gas or electric burner system, a refrigerator, a microwave and other electrical appliances like mixers, grinders, mashers, stirrers, blenders and the like are absolutely essential. As are vessels and cooking implements. A good amateur chef would do well to invest in a fine set of culinary knives. A more accomplished chef could also go ahead and invest in a custom set of utensils. But one thing that most amateur and professional chefs overlook, and which would add more value than any of the items listed above, is an indoor herb garden.

Herbal Drug Stores

I have been studying herbal remedies for years, but I had never thought about making a career of it until just now. You see, my interest in herbal remedies is purely an academic and a practical one. I am interested in how things work, and I am also interested in alternatives to the medical establishment. I have found it strange that doctors are so quick to prescribe antibiotics, but so slow to give any other kind of help. It seems like either you are sick with a bacterial infection, or else the doctor cannot help you. Herbal pills treat many more conditions than traditional medication seems to.

Herbal Teas

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007

I have always liked herbal teas. I think it is because they remind me of my grandmother. I remember when I was a little kid and we went over to her house every weekend. We would sit there and drink Herb tea for hours on end. She loved herbal tea, and had every flavor you could imagine. She had Jasmine, peppermint, rose hips - you name it and she had. She would even mix up her own herbal teas out of various herbal extracts that she had. I can remember like it was yesterday, how nice it was to sit there and just sip tea with her all afternoon long.

Cause of Erectile Dysfunction

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007

It’s not something many men want to talk about with anyone, but they should find out some of the cause of erectile dysfunction with their doctors if they are having problems. Though many men think this means that they are losing some of their manhood, it is usually more of a medical issue, or even a mental block that they can’t seem to get around. I can understand, even being a women, why something like this would be devastating, even if it is not something that is life threatening. There is something about losing a part of yourself, even if it is something that many leave behind as they age anyway.

All Natural Cures

Monday, June 18th, 2007

All natural cures for common ailments, diseases, and disorders are a popular market today in the United States. Knowing that the medication or treatment you are using is an all nature cure rather than something synthesized by some mad scientist in a lab is a comforting fact. After all, if it’s found naturally in the world, it can’t be that bad, right?

Well, not exactly. It’s important to keep in mind that ‘all natural’ does not mean ‘completely safe’ or even ‘remotely safe’. All of the most toxic and potent chemicals known to man are found naturally in the world. Nature, in her billions of years of age and wisdom, has developed a variety of drugs vastly more complicated and potentially risky that what we’ve been able to come up with so far in our labs.
